the fantastical tale of the phoenix is one that everyone is universally familiar with. one could say that our experiences in the pandemic, the way the entire world crashed in front of us; and is now trying to rebirth itself, aligns with this famed story. we are not only all phoenixes as individuals, but also as a group, as a human society in healing, as highlighted in "PHOENIX (2021)".
LIGHTHEADED (2020)
"LIGHTHEADED (2020)" follows a person who forgot their own dream, one that was without doubt life-changing, and an absolute shame to forget. in attempt to remember such an impacting dream, they try to replicate it artistically, but to no avail. they spiral down into deep misery before swimming up to the surface, coming to a stunning realization. or, perhaps, is it that they simply gave up?
